And the Date is Set: Fri, 10/11/13
Sep. 5th, 2013 04:53 pmWhoo-hoo! Finally feeling like this is really gonna happen now that I have a Moving Date on the calendar. It'll be oh-so-nice getting settled in rather than living in Boxville. Sure, it'll take a while, but it'll be far more satisfying getting stuff set up as I want it rather than simply taking it all apart as I'm currently doing.
The electricians finished up part 1 of their work today. All that remains is the big-@ss shifting of the electric panel in another few weeks, when PGE has time for't. Spent chunks of yesterday and today looking at lighting fixtures. OMG - so many choices! Finally settled on a couple I'm pleased with and they're now in place. Yay for functioning (and attractive) back porch and front entryway lights!
Hopefully plumbing estimates will come in next week. Wood floors (front closet, entryway, living & dining rooms) will happen later this month and early in October.
My garden's getting shifted this weekend, thx to Dear Friends from SEA coming down for same, along w/a local DF or two. I'll fly to SoCal for a wedding the following weekend. My 'rents'll then fly to help w/packing the weekend after that. Lots to do, but it's getting done.
