Juggling

Yesterday was Grand Fun at Faire. The Criers were fab for inviting us in and hugging us to their bosoms (quite nice ones at that), as was the Strapwell crowd (we had the better bosoms in that gang though). Many and much good music, shows, feeding, drinking, story-swapping, hanging out: good times.

Today I cannot talk, only rasp. MOST FRUSTRATING! Spent the morning being poked and prodded and told to pee in a cup. (Times like those it'd be SO much easier to be a boy.) Am now under doc's orders to lose weight. Must return in two (2) months time and should have 10-15 lbs off by then. Let's see whether the weight/voice of authority backed w/fear (or vice versa) works better than my own self-discipline. (Should do.)

Last few daze of July 2006/start of Aug: keep open in case my chaperone duties kick in and I get to accompany two (2) teenage nieces x-country to NYC via train

Sat, 8/5: Highland Fling @ H-wood Bowl (caveat: assuming the tix I ordered come through)

F, 8/11 - M, 8/14: Big Bear Faire (prolly w/AJ so a quiet time)
Tu, 8/15: 9am - D&D (dentist appt likely followed by D-land)

Wed, 8/23: Big Band Bash @ H-wood Bowl (usual caveat re: tix)
Sat, 8/26: Friend's b-day party?

Drive to Phoenix to visit a Dear Friend and help out more w/house unpacking etc. sometime whenever...

At least one (1) more D-land adventure (with or without dentistry)
mid-July: visit WA (planning on spending 1-2.5 weeks getting and being up yonder and back again)

Go through my stuff, culling severely...figure out what's needed...
Research options for PacNW - actually, this is less not-so-fun then somewhat-stress-inducing yet wise/good/necessary.

Wow.. busy busy summer for you!
Re: visiting in June... length of trip, kind of depends on if we have someone staying at the house at that time... for care of chicks & plants... I think I could get a free flight into Sacramento area... that would be about an hour north of 'Frisco, I think... more coordinating coming later.... after I've had a chance to "be home" for a bit.. *grins*
