Meanwhile, I prematurely posted my MISC Feb photos, figuring I'll add the last few from o'morrow after the fact. Friday's photos'll become part of my AZ Trip set, as I'm heading South-Eastward for some sunshine this weekend. Huz-zoom-zah!

This afternoon, delerium3 came over and we returned to Forest Park for more hiking as part of the All Trails Challenge. Photos from today's squelchiness (lotsa mud ;-) are HERE. More ATC hiking o'morrow, after baking for a beach weekend in WA, and before dinner out w/friends. Zoom!

After a delightful visit to the Crystal Springs Rhododendron Garden (where I snapped way too many pics), I visited Marylhurst U (for the first time) to meet someone I'd only known on-line previously. Activities included labyrinth-walkies, chapel-visiting, much good conversation, and lotsa photo-taking. A fine day!

The highlight of the day included very nice walkies up to and through Mt Tabor Park beneath lovely blue sky w/great fluffy white clouds. Then there was java jelly wrestling between Jeeves & Cap'n America. I served as an extra/crowd member for the stop-motion short film of the event. Today helped me remember why I like living here. Increased local connections yesterday w/a nearly 2-hour b-fast at Petite Provence w/LJ-less D & A (after showing up at 24-hour Hot Cake House and finding it closed for "minor renovations"). The Universe then conspired to keep me from Sock Dreams by showing me some great bits of industrial PDX (all in SE). I really like it here. People make stuff. People do things. It's not just thinking - although this occurs as well - it's hands-on making and creating and fixing.
