I've now lived in Portland, OR for eight (8) years. WhooHoo! Leaves have begun unfurling on the fig tree I planted last year after moving into Hive Magnum (HM). Tulips planted by HM's previous owner have started opening. Last night featured yet more fab live music (Ukeladies) with good friends and on-the-way-to-becoming-even-better-friends. Life = Good. Thanks to all the locals who've embraced me into the PacNW world, and to the far-away-folks who visit and let me visit them. <3

Increased local connections yesterday w/a nearly 2-hour b-fast at Petite Provence w/LJ-less D & A (after showing up at 24-hour Hot Cake House and finding it closed for "minor renovations"). The Universe then conspired to keep me from Sock Dreams by showing me some great bits of industrial PDX (all in SE). I really like it here. People make stuff. People do things. It's not just thinking - although this occurs as well - it's hands-on making and creating and fixing.
