This afternoon,

delerium3 came over and we returned to Forest Park for more hiking as part of the All Trails Challenge. Photos from today's squelchiness (lotsa mud ;-) are HERE. The collection of pics from these hikes (only 2 so far) live HERE. We did this last year, too, and photo sets from back then live HERE.

More ATC hiking o'morrow, after baking for a beach weekend in WA, and before dinner out w/friends. Zoom!

I've seen the festival here in Portland, back in February, and there's a LOT of good stuff this year! Come see shorts and feature-length films alike, representing a broad spectrum of approaches to just what a good steampunk story entails. And feel free to pass this on to anyone else who may be interested!

Hey, West Coast steampunk fans! The Rose City Steampunk Film Festival is headed out on the road! More information is available here, but the tour dates (as of right now--more to be added) are as follows:

5/20 - Seattle, WA
5/22 - Eugene, OR
5/23 - Ashland, OR
5/25-28 - San Jose, CA
5/28 - San Francisco, CA
6/1 - Long Beach, CA
6/2 - San Diego, CA
TBA - Portland, OR

AND if you're a local artist whose work may fit into the steampunk aesthetic, you may be able to get your work displayed at the event, too--you can contact the coordinators for more info.
