I already have to put up with LOL Speak, and text message shortcuts in the essays I grade. I already have to put up with students cries about how hard it is to come up with 1000 words after viewing a two hour performance....... Now someone wants to knock Dante down to 20 sentences. My students will be insufferable..... however I doubt many of them will have read any main stream media enough to hear the announcement. Their might be a silver lining after all.
