A Good Buzz

Last night was the final Pagan Tuesday (Pagan Jug Band's final free Tuesday concert at Charlies fka Clinton Corner Cafe b'c it's closing its doors). I public transported straight there from PDX, stashed my suitcase under a table and tossed by backpack on the back corner, then enjoyed myself thoroughly. Amazing energy, wonderful songs, a really good - if bittersweet - time.

I do hope they find another family-friendly close-by venue soon b'c I really like having a weekly community musical event to attend when I'm in town and feeling social. Back in Santa Monica, we had the music jam at Finn McCool's every whatever night that was (Mon? Tu?), which served much of the same purpose for me.

Back home now after a really nice long weekend in SoCal w/good reconnections, gardens 'n' tea, &c. I had a long-@ss post in mind 'bout it all, but now I've got stuff to do so'll let pics tell stories instead. They'll come later...

One of the best things 'bout going away is how incredibly good it feels to return home again. :-)
