Combos

Last night (pre-4 Musketeers and post-new Charlie & Choco Factory) featured interesting combos, such as split pea soup mixed w/grilled Italian meatballs, homemade barley bread w/butter & honey, and a kiwi cobbler. Quite interesting and pretty danged good. Am giving strong consideration to signing up for Wms-Sonoma's 3- or 6-month artisanal cheese club, having spent the past l'il bit browsing through their catalog. Feeling nice. Pretty damned good mentally & emotionally and getting better physically.

Feeling a NEED for D-land. Mebbe later this week or perhaps next if'n I'm sensible. Ah, heck, if'n anybody's innarested in b-fast and D-land this Th (11/17/05), I'm gonna be up and driving early already, so lemme know and it'll be a grand fun time.

Am considering and musing on how to devise and incorporate a morning ritual/routine into my life. It's gotta be something that's portable/doable whereever I happen to be, 'cause I'm gone away too much to have it be super-home-specific. Home is where I am, not the casa itself. Any/all suggestions welcome.

The Fog

Driving home this eve, the fog appeared on the 10 fwy just west of the 405 - it's gloriously thick and cool and I LOVE IT! Happy Happy Joy Joy.
