Off-Lineness

Been off here for a while now. Not easy getting on-line, what w/computers being locked up in the safe and later on being needed to file grades and whatnot. Have had many adventures...but they're mostly past now, so not sure how much to bother saying 'bout 'em. Tidbits:

Uncle Abdul & Battery Boys versus Roly-Poly Pudding & Grand Fun @ Dickens Fest (even w/power outages postponing entrance by two hours) & Arts 'n' Crafts and Dido - cutest new purse in ages (meow) & relaxing and reading (de Lint, Grafton & Hiaasen) and shuttling to SFO & good long discussions 'bout Non-Violent Communication and Poly and existentialism and linguistics and shared reality and concepts of culture and phenomelonology and epistomology...and friends moving away, moving on, doing their things which may or may not include folks from the past (e.g., ME).

We trimmed the tree last night which was really really nice, w/eggnog and reminiscences 'bout where various ornaments came from and stories told again (and new ones heard). Having a grand time up here. Feeling a bit disconnected from folks away from right here, but hoping this'll change once I return post-x-mas.

Loads o' thought going on...feelings being recognized, sorted out...trying to figure out What's Next w/R-ships and all. Dunno. Feeling a bit disconnected, unappreciated/unrecognized/unsure of where I stand and/or what the future holds...of what I'm wanted/needed/desired for...of expectations, desires, needs. Enjoying being up here...and enjoying thinking of being back Home again. This is Home, but so is HOME itself. So much pent up...but so what, why stick it here?!

we're new still, I know...but, please come and talk with me about any of the billions of thoughts you have about existence, life...anything...I am home at odd times and so, perhaps we can collide once in a while...I am falling for your brain in wonderful ways...just all the knowledge and ideas that are hinted at in your conversation...tell me your stories and I'll share mine, if you like, or not...I can listen. Also, it is so rare to find someone so in tune with the glories of food, flavor, texture, design, temptation, baiting, rewarding and denial as you seem to be. *awe*
Most of all, thank you for continuing to be in touch with me even though I am shy and awkward with people (it's twue). I like you very much.
