nakeygirl & youngun followed by dinner w/the 'rents and my last remaining grandparent(ish) (mom's hubbie's mom). She turns 84 on Tuesday. We ate at Mazzarino's Italian Restaurant in Sherman Oaks (not far from you, deang on Riverside just West of Coldwater Cyn), where she has been dining regularly for 58 years and has outlasted several owners. Good Italian food...great cheesey garlic bread: YUM! Overall 'twas a very good day and I'm very happy. Long may this goodness last!
Oh, oh, I scored at the Wine Haus today. Went looking for a bottle of Ojai Vineyard 2004 Sauv Bl but came away instead w/a raffia-wrapped bottle of damned fine rum which I'd recently sampled at my folks: Ron Zacapa Centenario (23 years) from Guatemala. MAJOR YUM!
