Concept: Aggressive Pacifism

mlerulesSo, there's Passive Aggressive behavior, but what about Aggressive Pacifism? The latter may look like someone who does anything possible to maintain civility, up to and including absolutely refusing to engage or do anything that might result in confrontation. This may include someone saying whatever s/he thinks you want to hear, regardless of what s/he may want or believe...or ultimately does.
'Cept doing what's desired when it's the opposite of (or otherwise in conflict with) what's said can end up back-firing, although surprisingly enough not necessarily as often as one might expect. Words often seem to matter so much more than (in)action, 'specially when you've got two (or more) folks who both/all want to avoid conflict. *sigh*
Sidenote: not all conflict is (or requires) drama.
Cryptic, perhaps, but mainly just trying to suss out some feelings/thoughts I've started having/realizing lately. More spontaneous than reflective, 'cept insofar as the act of spontaneous writing is in and of itself active reflection. Yeah, mebbe I do think way too much sometimes... ;-P
