Phlegm-Coated Silving Linings & Happy Pi-Day

Springtime's bursting out outside, but I've been stuck inside. Bleh. At least I've enjoyed watching the persimmon? tree across the tree as its green buds grow larger daily. For today's silver-lining location winner: it's dawned on me that while laid low by illness, I haven't suffered one teensy bit of/from existential angst. The phlegm-factory's totally laid such nonsense to waste. Phew!?

Anyway, I'm finally feeling better enough to get dressed and leave the house this afternoon (in a bit) for the first time since last Friday. Goal: PIE. And groceries. Not much more. Far better today than anytime this week, but could still play Wheezy in an alt-production of Snow White & The 7 Dwarfs (which I wanna spell as Dwarves but LJ's spell-check, like GMail's, insists my preference is wrong).

Yes, thx - and back to you (re: pi(e))! Feeling far better today, but a few hours out 'n' about were enough to wipe me out pretty thoroughly. Am back in PJs on the couch now, continuing the Taking It Easy & sipping hot tea portion of my Healing Plan. SO pleased that Spring's well on its way w/daffodils out, ditto plum blossoms and even a few early magnolias! Huzzah.

There is a yard near us that is covered in crocuses. Every spring, that's one of the first yards to bloom, and it makes me smile every time I walk past it.

Yes, many lovely crocuses! Glad you've got lots nearby to enjoy. Reminds me to wander Southward down my street to a house w/great early-mid-Spring garden.
