Back from a delightful day at Dickens. Eleven friends from SoCal were up as well. We all had a blast wandering about in full costume. I took no pictures but hope to get some from the three (3) cameras they had. My face is now wreathed w/smiles. D&B & I had dinner near Union Square in SF afterward while those w/kidlets opted to eat there (at Dickens) then return to where they were staying. Everyone who saw us smiled. Several people asked to take pics w/us. One man came up at dinner and thanked us profusely for a marvelous day, as he'd had a great time at the Cow Palace on his first Dickens visit today and looks forward to returning again next year. Many stories, much laughter, dancing, parlor games, tea, hot buttered rum, joy, silliness, amusement...a wonderful day w/good people in a marvelous city (SF).
