Food for Thought
Sep. 8th, 2008 01:51 pmIssues surrounding madness & normalcy have fascinated me for a long time. If'n you're interested in the mind, moods, manic-depression, any/all of this sorta thing, you may well want to take the time to read this Oliver Sacks article/book review: A Summer of Madness.
It's another lovely day out which I'm thoroughly enjoying. Puttering about, doing this and that, enjoying lunch and reading outside on the back deck, listening to crickets and birds chirping and the wind chimes tinkling, watching birds at the feeder, seeing the tall trees sway gently in the breeze and noticing a few yellow leaves falling now 'n' again, feeling the warmth of the air flecked w/coldness of the breeze, swatting mosquitoes...heading inside to swap out laundry before going to check on llama food 'n' water and wandering down the trail to FaerieLands w/clippers.
