The ducks that'd started paddling all over the Great Blue Sea have finally started massing near the starting line, which pleases me to no end. Okay, "to no end" sounds odd, as it's quite positive, yet sounds meaningless. Herding ducks, crickets, cats, pagans, monkeys, &c. has been a hobby for a while now. Sometimes it feels like Just Too Much, but when it works 'n' all comes together, oh how nice 'tis!

Yes, I've just figured it out and I'll have 16 different house guests staying here at various times over the course of the next few weeks.

There's so much to do, but after some wee-hour agonizing 'bout it, I'm now finding myself Not Really Worrying/Caring So Durned Much. Hopefully this is A Good Thing that won't Bite Be In The @ss. And whassup w/all the Pooh-esque capitalization nonsense anyway? Yeah, I'm oft-times A Bear Of Very Little Brain, but it doesn't usually infect my writing quite this much.

Actually, I'm Very Pleased (see - there 'tis again!) that my bounce has begun. Zoom-bounce's replacing dull dour doldrums. Huzzah - and about freakin' time!

Hmm, realizing that what happens sometimes, what's been happening Too Much recently (sigh ;-), is that I'm grinding in time rather than grounding in't. Shan't fuss w/why, as it hardly matters. What matters is noticing it now, trying to be aware of it as it returns, then figuring out how to handle it gracefully 'n' well. One way: Just Do It w/IT = whatever or at least something.

Upcomings:

This weekend: quickie trip to Bay Area for fambily stuff & brunch w/new folks & deneedling [livejournal.com profile] jaylake followed by a nice visit w/[livejournal.com profile] hollyteige upon my return.

You put up posts like this, and mention theoretical free time over a 3 day weekend, and my mind goes all over the place.

Scheming...

How would you feel about a visit from [livejournal.com profile] dritikol and I over the 4th?

Oh, m'dear, much as I'd lurv to see you both, that weekend's not good. Dunno what's gonna happen w/[livejournal.com profile] jaylake's chemo schedule since he wasn't well enough (!) for chemo this weekend. If'n everything shifts 1 week, that puts him on chemo #4 that weekend. And I've got recovery from and prep for lotsa stuff, too. Love you, miss you, but will see you 'nother time.

No worries at all, love. It was ineffective scheming this end anyhow. Not enough time or money, but here's hoping there's another chance in the not too distant future.

Loves to you.
