Shifting Gears Quickly
Aug. 5th, 2005 04:01 pmSo last week's eves in Torrance turned into late-nights in D-land and SD. This week's major plan-shift consists of me finally coming to my senses and realizing that driving up to on Sat & back from the Bay Area on Mon ALONE w/one day of Marin Faire stuck in between drive-times would wipe me out fairly spectacularly, 'specially if I joined my fambily for Sat night's Hawaiian music and dance thingiemabob in SJ. I'd rather be alive on Tuesday, 'cause I wanna cook. I already know the main course (pasta puttanesca). Will hit Farmer's Market on Sunday to determine veggies and refresh the flower arrangements. And this way I'll be more energetic for dancing again on Thursday, 'specially important if'n a special guest from SD makes the trek Northward. (And there's tons of room for crashing afterwards!) Plus I'll be more rested for next w'end. Friday'll find me off on another adventure: destination Bear Faire. It's a far shorter distance and will likely be car-pooling rather than solo. And I don't have to leave 'til Monday! Or so. My body and brain thank me.
