Dusting As Nesting
Nov. 17th, 2010 12:39 pmThe sky's gone from variable shades of pale w/sunlight nearly breaking through to a more solid white w/intermittent rain. It's been blustery throughout the morning. I've been slowing rotating from chore to chore, getting stuff done (including foiling the handiwork of that pesky domestic nemesis, the Dust Bunny Brigade), nesting in the process.
It feels really good to House Elf for myself. Music helps this happen, so'm I'm listening to stuff 'n' things while also working on my next we3 compilation (not sure whether it's for our SoCal trip in Jan 2011 or our WA beach weekend in mid-Feb 2011. (Where did the time fly...howzit nearly 2011 already?!)
I know the importance of getting out despite the weather - and look forward to starting up irregular cemetery-at-lunch walkies w/S in the next state over - but I also enjoy being inside on a day like this, looking out the windows, feeling satisfaction from getting stuff done around the house. In another few hours I'll head out to fetch LJ-free L from PDX.
Meanwhile, I think I've figured out what's so wonderful 'bout Fall: Nature explodes in riotous color before curling up like a satisfied kittenhead to snooze the cold and dreary (color-wise anyway) Winter away. Back at it now...

Re: rainhat?
Date: 2010-11-18 03:01 am (UTC)Hey, I apologize for making you hang onto it for so long. I believe someone else had inquired 'bout the hat after I did. Why don't you just pass it along to that person so you don't have to hang onto it unnecessarily.
CU one of these days, regardless of hat-passing!
