My cell phone rang a little while ago w/an unknown number. 'Twas a machine telling me that I was receiving a collect-call from someone in the Los Angeles County lock-up. The name was (of course) garbled/incoherent. In order to receive the call, though, I must pre-pay blahblahblah...by providing 'em w/my credit-card number. Um, NO THX. Now when I try calling the # that'd called me, all I get is a busy-signal.
