Fireworks!

Quite simply, I LURV fireworks. 'Twas really nice getting a goodly dose of 'em this evening. Beforehand, several of us met for a nice 'n' numbly potluck get-together at Petting Zoo. After that, we carpool'd 'n' caravan'd to the MAX station and headed into downtown, meeting up w/s'more folks along the waterfront. Then the booming blasts & pretty splashes and bursts of color and sparks lit up the sky (first directly behind a tree, then right in our line of sight after a quick adjustment to our location). The only less-than-ideal bit wasn't really that bad. Our doughnut foraging expedition failed, as the line at Voodoo Donuts was around the corner and halfway down the next block...gah! Really though, it sounded good but I didn't need any donuts, so all was well.
