So much for x-mas w/fambily in the Bay Area. Not feeling like braving the roads to get to Sea-Tac only to be told "sorry, no go," as seems likely. What about the train you might ask...Amtrak's not a viable option right now either. I've got a friend looking in on the kittenheads today so they should be fine 'til I get back to the Hive on Friday (if all works out according to Plan 7B).

I'm scheduled to be on an Alaska/Horizon flight to PDX where they're experiencing worse weather than Seattle right now (w/fewer resources as this level of snow/cold is less common down yonder).

Dunno if it is much help, but I am in Redding, Ca- and at some point after the holiday(s) I will be driving back to Seattle- if you need or want a ride with, I have an empty front passenger seat! :)

Oh, thx...another interesting duck to have potentially in the line-up. If'n you happen to be wandering up through Portland 'round Mon, 12/29 or Tu, 12/30, I'd gladly split gas and share w/driving. And you'd be welcome to use the Hive as a crash spot 'tween Redding and points North. I've even got a comfie guest bedroom.
