mlerulesTurns out I've been granted a reprieve. NOT co-driving to the Bay Area today after all. May go o'morrow. Might go directly to the Oakland airport to fly back on Thursday. We shall see. Today's for catching up on sleep, walking down Hawthorne to pick up my boots from George the boot-fix-it guy, doing laundry, packing for Bay Area, Astoria, Vorpal Bunny pumpkin carving & drumming.
A thought emerged while waiting at Amtrak, when a woman lost a button from her backpack onto the tracks (and wisely decided against hopping down to retrieve it as the train was due any minute).
