Dreams (Foundations?)

I don't often remember my dreams or even that I dreamed. I awoke, however, this morning - to a lovely blue sky and green trees and a blissful feeling of happiness & rightness w/the world - w/vivid recollection of 'em and feelings of *not sure what...dissolution's what first came to mind, perhaps b'c we watched The Other Boleyn Girl which featured dissolution of the Church of England's r-ship w/the Catholic Church along w/Henry VIII's various marriage dissolutions in hopes for a male heir*. As I find myself searching for words to share 'em, the images start to fade, so I shan't relate 'em too much, just bits 'n 'pieces...
Part of what fascinates me is how I can feel simultaneously happy/pleased/positive and whatEVER (some combo of stress-shocked, overwhelmed, a bit scared, fascinated, terrified, more). Anyway, we (cast of character numbering in the many MANY dozens, many of whom I know, many of whom were strangers - apparently friends of friends of mine). Location: summer camp or FaerieWorlds or some such large gathering of folks sharing food and arts and crafts and time and memories (past, present, and making future ones) and music and Nature and community. Surroundings: wooded mostly interspersed w/meadows/prairies and a stream running through it all. Lodgings: some cabins (primarily old 'n' decrepit), some camping tents. After merriment and music, somehow someone opened up a small door on the side of a cabin (somewhat reminiscent of the small "elf" door to our hotel room in Seattle last night which we asked about and apparently was a primitive (yet likely effective) cooling system whereby they'd stick a block of ice in it which'd then get blown by a fan into the room). Pushing something heavyish inside (cooler of food 'n' ice or sturdy box of camping gear), the bottom gave out and everything tumbled down into the...basement/cave system...well, tumbled DOWN. I remember looking down and wondering where it went and where it'd come from and how extensive 'twas. Anyway, more stuff happened in the dream session but ultimately I was out in this general area and happened to watch when first a small hole developed inside one of the cabins, dropping through a sleeping bag and pillow. I remember thinking "wow, good thing folks were out at lunch/dinner." Then I saw and felt the ground move. I watched a sinkhole develop and suck down a five foot (5') hole in front of the cabin. Then all heck broke loose and the ground started giving way, earth crumbling, whole buildings pitching over into the pits, dust and dirt flying everywhere and reducing visibility massively. 'Twas huge enough that stuff fell into the river, causing it to shift, locking one group of campers/revelers onto what'd become an island. Night began to fall. The dream shifted and we launched into full-bore rescue planning and carrying out mode w/folks streaming in w/smudges of dirt and blood and whatnot on their faces and hands and looks of shock and numbness on their faces. I think eventually everything was alright and nobody was hurt horribly, but the dream went on at length and included stress 'n' trauma, although I felt pretty good for herding and helping calm folks.
Okay, now I'm awake and wanting to DO stuff 'n' things and feel like I've accomplished something worthwhile.
