On our way from Redding to Bishop via Lassen on 7/9/08 (day 2), we drove by then had to back up and check out the wonderful stuff at Man of Steel Art. No llamas, sadly...but mebbe given time/encouragement they'll whip one out! The following day (Bishop-Las Vegas) found us visiting the Ancient Bristlecone Pine Forest, home of the oldest living things on the planet.

The final day of the Toad Rip (7/17/08) found us captured (quite willingly) into the Vortex that included the Rogue River, the House of Mystery/OR Vortex, Crater Lake, SNOW!, and Hwy 138. Clickie for S'more Pickies

Getting ready to burn, yes. Unknown if they are going to throw a "must do" project at me, that will foil those plans, and all the expense beforehand.

Northern? Unlikely, work will have me very busy. Maybe, if weekends off and travel don't interfere.

Workwise, contract was supposed to be 90 days. They cut it to thirty, and now have two weeks "off" and they want to restart at their whim.

All well... just frustrated with tying up money for work, and then waiting more than a month to get a paycheck.
