mlerulesAfter the wedding, we fled Vegas early the next day to make it to AJ's in time for a fambily dinner. Initially taking the standard route to SoCal, we quickly bailed on Hwy 15 in favor of a more pleasant journey through the Mojave. (Yeah, this way we also got to enjoy date shakes at Hadley's...mmmmm, date shakes.) It's been years (decades, actually) since I camped there, but this drive brought back good memories of Hole In The Wall, Kelso Dunes, and Mitchell Caverns. Clickie for Pickies.
