Mortality

Sometimes we come face to face w/mortality. Been thinking 'bout this a lot this evening as I drove around getting lost time after time. Things become razor sharp. What matters becomes clearer, along w/what doesn't so much. Much more to say 'bout this. Mebbe I'll continue o'morrow...

I've had to deal with my own mortality a few times either when I was sick or very injured. It is scary but then somehow, comforting.

Mortality is scary.

Sometimes, ya wake up and think, "I have no idea what I wanna do today..."

But then Mortality comes knocking... and suddenly, all you can think about are all the things you WANT TO DO before the big door closes, and ya can't anymore. :/

Bah.

I wanna get married and honeymoon at disneyland.

Then it's all good.
