Damn It All
Aug. 29th, 2007 08:57 amTime to do what I need to, to practice what I preach, to wrest control of myself, my actions, my future from the drifting shoals of fish nibbling at my toes, from the winds blowing me hither, zither, and yon. Stagnation's not pretty. I've been growing moss and breeding mosquitoes...and I need wants to move onward and upward. Next up: climbing a hill (after a healthy b-fast). Wish me luck...
NOTE: Why in tarnation does the picture/icon/thingie for "determined" look like a sick Ren who's given up all hope after eating naught but cotton candy for a week and is now flat on his back feeling horrid? This does NOT reflect my feeling of determination one whit. Still, I'm leaving it up for humor's sake...what I wanna do is the opposite of what's showing. What's showing is what I've been doing. And it's gotta stop. Now.
EDIT: My current Free Will Astrology Horoscope works pretty well w/all this: "There have never in history been so many opportunities to do so many things that aren't worth doing," wrote novelist William Gaddis. That's important for you to keep in mind during the coming weeks. You'll receive a flood of invitations, but only some of them will be intimately related to the unique work you're here on Earth to do. Those few may be so amazingly useful, though, that they could dramatically change your life for the better. Please say no to all the others so you can attend to the good stuff with your heart on fire and your mind as fluid as a mountain stream.
