I'm in no mood for socializing, but I said I'd go, so I shall. Quite likely will have a fine time, as this happens fairly often (no mood translates into fine mood in social atmosphere).

EDIT: 10:10pm - I went and had a good time and met new people. But I'm just as happy to be home again now.

I know what you mean.

For me, the hard part is actually dragging my ass out of the house. ;)

I think you socialize quite well....

Of course I have always been drawn to highly educated and intellectual people, particularly other women. LOL!

*hugs*

*hug* back atcha! Great icon, by the way.

Yeah, socializing's fun and I'm definitely an extrovert...but sometimes I need to recharge on my own for a bit 'tween bouts of group-heavy activities. See you in a couple of weeks! (Or this Wed...cannot remember.)

I'm there with you. One exception - though I wasn't in the mood to be social this weekend I really did want to go to a friend's b-day party in Ontario. So I went and had a great time, and maybe broke through a little more of that last bit of barrier between where I am and where I want to be.

Couldn't have known that was going to happen. I'm glad I went. But I'm still, as you said, happy to be home now.

Good you went then.

Yeah, I met some new folks which is good, even if'n the only #s I exchanged were w/folks up in Seattle rather than locally in Portland. *chuckle* - guess I'll continue visiting up yonder every couple/few weeks...
