After Karaoke from Hell, a few of us wandered over to Shanghai Tunnel to continue the story-swapping 'n' fun. I opted to head home after that rather than hit a third bar, so cannot report on the results of the PRB vs. Red Stripe taste test.

Meanwhile, nearly done schlepping boxes outta the living room. O'morrow: completion of floor clearage & laundry. Soon: looking for living room furniture (sectional sofa and/or couch & loveseat and/or something along these lines). Next up: shower & sleep.

I realized yesterday that the worst part of you moving away is that you are exactly the sort of friend I have missed out on having since high school...the person I could spend time with sipping tea, chatting about everything, cleaning, doing laundry, hiking, anything and it would be fun and healing and wonderful. This was reaffirmed by the sudden, overwhelming desire to go help you sort out your home at the top speed it requires to get things ready for the luncheon.

Ooooh, this could be perfect, if'n we could also get some kitchen time in afterwards. I'm going to a potluck wedding Monday afternoon/evening and need to prepare something for it. If not, I can always do something that night (Sun) chez AJ & UD. Hmm, I wonder if'n the mulberries'd be ripe by then...
