And now, sitting here, all of a sudden the words stop coming. One moment my mind's flooded w/thoughts, the next it's all...what 'xactly? Not blank. No, far from blank. More like white noise, static, so freaking filled w/stuff that it's hard to pick out coherent thoughts or rather to prioritize 'em and choose which one(s) to record here. And this is PRECISELY some (a big chunk methinks) of whassup here w/me these daze: so much to do, where to begin...so I stall and do nada of it. Or dribs and drabs. Flailing.

Part of whassup is I like efficiency and I get mad at myself for going out and getting X, Y, and Z, only to arrive home again and realize I'd forgotten Q & P (from the same store). Yet it's dawned on me that if'n I wait to get all ducks in a row before doing whatever, it prolly ain't ever gonna happen. (Sorta like waiting for the time/everything to be right before having a baby. OOPS!) Yesterday, despite waiting/failing to begin early - okay, strike that...do over: yesterday, even though I got started mid-late afternoon, I managed to get tons done. Didn't wait for everything to be perfect, just made a small list of a few things to get done (broad stroke categories), then mostly ignored it and did whatEVER. 'Cause right now there's so bleedin' much to do that there's always something, even if'n it's not precisely what I'd hoped to do ahead of time. And, as noted previously, doing something's better than doing nothing, even if unplanned.

Meanwhile, I'm wondering where on Earth - or rather in which boxes can - I can find my shotglasses and large Tupperware container of rice. 'Twas this search which got me started yesterday on some of my unpacking and box shifting.

Current plan: segregate remaining boxes into zones/projects then attack 'em as appropriate/desired/compelled to do so. Major categories o' boxes:

- Books that need a home (bookshelves in bedroom(s) and/or attic and/or to take to Powell's to sell)
- Photos that need sorting and putting into albums *ack*
- Glasses (donate 'em/Freecycle 'em, stick 'em in garage in case I need 'em, other)
- Carp from garage to go through in basement (whenEVER)
- Costuming - it'll go into the attic (drier than basement), prolly need to get those wheelie things for hanging clothes from somewhere - how did I acquire/accumulate so much/many stuff for dress up?!

There. This makes it easier to deal with.

A quick note: when did I happen to start inadvertently collecting coasters? I know I collected pencils for a time...dunno what happened to 'em now that I think on't - they're either in one of the attic/office boxes or I chucked 'em as part of the move.

Oh, another current plan: head out soon (any day now) to the Rhododendron Gardens (out Reed-ish way) 'cause it's a good time for 'em and I do so like 'em. These days I'm finding that although my first bloom love (plum trees) remains strong, I've got a real weakness for flowering dogwood. Tons hereabout w/trees displaying several shades of white 'n' pinkness that's to die for. Floweringness is a big part of the Greenergy I love so much.

Hoping the good potting soil's in by now so I can get my stuff into the rest of the pots I got yesterday. So much to do...gots to go get onto it.

yes, definitely planting time. I took 3 minutes today while loading the car to head out to pull the dandelions that were taller than the roses ::rolls eyes::
