mlerulesA huge thumbnail Cheshire cat moon welcomed me to SJ this eve and brought a matching smile to my face. Dusk lasted over an hour this eve - massively delightful. Rediscovered moosic compilations I haven't heard in yonks today. Yes, I'll free admit that a major selling point of my new(ish - now 3.4 years old w/85K miles on't) car was the TAPEDECK (along w/6-CD in-dash player), 'cause I've got loads o' tapes 'n' I quite enjoy listening to 'em. I still hold out hope that the Quietworld compilation will one day resurface. It'll have to be a real Small World sitch...hell, a minor miracle. The stalker ex- ended up w/it (and a mess of other tape compilations and ALL my 45s)...but mebbe it still exists...and mebbe I'll get my sticky hands on it (and the rest from that era) again.
Have the place to myself tonight (other than the cat), which pleases me GREATLY. Forewent (past tense of forego?) a Solstice Party given by step-cousins in Carmel/PG/Monterey (not quite sure where they live), but was pleased to have been invited. Far too sleepy today. But it's okay now, 'cause I'm here and can collapse into a heap whenever I choose. First though: hot bath in big tub...
