Good Friday

After much dealing w/nonsense/life/bureaucracy for the entire morning and part of the afternoon, I was finally fed...a bit late though. Crashed afterwards. Managed eventually to get up and out and take a wonderful hike through Temescal Canyon up in Pacific Palisades. Made it to the waterfall and part of the way back w/out flashlights. Lovely view of the Pacific, Sta Monica, and PV off in the distance. Ended up sharing a delightful lemon sorbet and vanilla bean gelato and steamed milk whilst peope-watching on the 3rd Street Promenade. Mini-skirts are back. Ditto platforms. And now...must work on preparing for teaching next week. Later on it's off to Robin's Ribs in Pasadena w/friends I haven't seen in a while. It'll be good to catch up.
