'Twas a really nice drive down from Berkeley (880 - 17 - 1 - 156 - 101 - 1) featuring much blue blue ocean and skies w/puffy white clouds and music BLASTING repeatedly over and over and over. 7.5 hours. Ice chest = now emptied. Car = still mostly full of camping carp. Will deal w/the rest of it o'morrow. Exhaustion has kicked in, but I'll be fine for a nice mellow evening at home.

I was freaking out when I saw it took you 7 hours, but then I looked at your route :P

Did 7.5 hours seem like a lot or a little when you first read it? Have you ever gone down via 25 and Parkfield (Earthquake Capital of the World)?

A couple of Thxgivings ago a Dear Friend and I experienced an incredibly sweet misunderstanding culminating in this heartfelt drunken cowboy quote: "There's nothing so beautiful as two women in love." This was being told that the red wine selection consisted of Cabernet Sauvignon and "the M one" (which we properly guessed to be Merlot). It was a wonderful experience. Thxgiving usually is. But I ramble...

Seemed like a lot to me. I recall it taking 5-6 to get up there, but that was with Rick driving, probably really fast. Seems I need to reconsider when I am leaving to get there.

Ahhh. I live vicariously through your travels. I enjoy the mental images you conjure with descriptions on greenergy (still the best word ever), oceans, and skies.

Thank you.

You're really most welcome. Sometimes I feel bad, as if I'm taking up people's valuable time w/my rambling thoughts/tales...but then I remember that I do this for ME...but it's really nice knowing it's appreciated beyond my skull as well. ;-)
