Fambily Expansion Pack

Too tired for much of a post. Spent today connecting further (more than just reconnecting) w/my step-uncle (structurally so - my father's half-bro - although he's just 6 years older than I so we're far more of the same generation in many ways). Realized we share the same fave tea (Mariage de Freirs's Marco Polo) so went to the one place I know that has it for sure - cannot remember the name of the store but it's in Berkeley's Gourmet Ghetto on 4th Street. Also hit bits of SF (great olive oil tasting at O & Co.) and Berkeley (Moe's on Telegraph for volumes of art & antiquities, etc.), then dined at Hayes Street Grill back in SF, where we were joined by his 1st cuz & his wife (1st cuz once removed to me) and hit it off quite well. Really nice bright fun folks! So, my fambily has expanded even further in both the Bay Area (Sausalito) and SoCal, as they have kids down there, too.

Meanwhile, just learned that the next time I'll see mom & J will be in Portland, OR the 1st w'end in November when we're up for her big bro's surprise b-day celebration. I've now tentatively arranged to spend an extra few daze there w/a good friend from Phx, as well as a few daze in Phx 'tween now & then. Chatting w/my step-sis today I discovered more folks to get in touch w/in the PacNW. And and and...okay, suffice it to say I've been and will continue to be a very BIZZY BIZZZZZY BEE...and there're various folks I haven't seen in far too long. Must listen to phone msgs before long then keerash to continue o'morrow. snore...

You know it! Actually though, I'd also love to head up and visit w/all you folks some time during that adventure. Haven't quite figured out dates yet - since I just learned 'bout the suprise party for my uncle, but it'll be around the 1st w'end in Nov (party's that Sat, I believe).
