Good Food & Good Friends
Sep. 24th, 2006 10:26 pmAll goes really quite nicely. This weekend has featured good folks cooking good stuff for me. Teriyaki beef (mmmmm - recipe desired - oink)...scrambled eggies w/grilled onions cooked up in bacon drippin's & scratch pancakes w/maple syrup & pearsauce all courtesy of the most excellent
stacymckenna and also Tasty as sin apple turnovers sweetly delivered by
ebony_sphynx. My life's good. In keeping w/my Turnabout Is Fair Play motto, I've just prepared the basic sauce for Pasta Putanesca. All that remains to do whilst the spaghetti's cooking is reheat the sauce and add sliced olives, capers, and oregeno. Methinks this'll do quite nicely w/homemade peach ice cream, which I'll start earlier o'morrow so it'll be ready for din-din/dessert. Will also make something numbly for din-din on Tuesday night.
And now: back to cleaning...
EDIT: And PUDDING & choco chip cookies - praise be to SMcKS
