Hmmm, THAT's Interesting

Found myself constructing elaborately detailed scenes/fantasies outta whole cloth on the drive up from SoCal to Carmel day before yesterday. Not thinking they're likely in the slightest to come about...but the emotional resonance remains nonetheless. Dreaming in the daytime - would, could, should analysis of the issues/feelings/desires result in a deeper or greater appreciation of myself/wants/needs/desires? Not gonna push matters (thought-wise), but will make a few notes 'bout what led to such thoughts and what else I could do (say, IRL) to satisfy such desires if'n that's indeed what's up and going on. Perhaps though, they're satisfying in and of themselves and it's not necessary to figure out what's up on any deeper/greater level. Hmm...snacks for thought.

I like fantasies not so much as goals to try to live, but as background baseline for my imagination. A much larger statistical universe than what I can actually experience for real.

...and then when the fantasies do become real, all the better...
