Ongoingness...

Once again pleased (and mildly astonished) that my camping gear's not as horribly disorganized as I feared ahead of time. In some ways I'm better prepared for cooking while camping then in my own kitchen! Have a simple list of things to procure.

MEANWHILE: Seems as if the cuz's wedding won't be happening at Burning Man after all, phew - however, now it's likely happening close-by here this summer. Well, I ain't gonna be so close-by here this summer, having just so happened to have filled much of my summer pretty danged thoroughly quite recently. *SIGH* There's one date that's been mentioned which is what I'm rooting for, 'cause even though it'd mean giving something up (prolly 2 good somethings in fact - damn) but at least I'll be in the country & even the right state that day. *grumble* Why don't people realize that folks have plans and make plans ahead of time...but if'n informed of a wedding or even a possibility of a local wedding would be willing to put plans on hold in order to work around the wedding date. *teeth gnashing & swearing under my breath*

Ah, well, back at it... Must go shop for things & stuff.

A note on the camping portion of your post (bummer about the remainder of your post) - I have both Friday and Saturday off this weekend in addition to my regular Sunday and Monday. Although I have to be back in San Diego Monday morning for a memorial service I at leats get to play beginning on Friday!

Got a new tent and air mattress because I'm a sissy. Hope the tents don't have to be Tolkien-esque.
