mlerulesTried once again to make it to LACMA to see those five (5) Klimt paintings before they leave at the end of the month. Foiled yet again by nasty-@ss L.A. rush hour traffic. [Next attempt = Monday] Realized and recovered in time to make it out to see "Mrs. Palfrey At The Claremont," a really nice sweet multi-generational friends flim. Been watching these recently: Fried Green Toms, something else that's escaped my mind, blah blah blah.
A muchly mellow day beyond the driving back and forth all over town (still have one more leg to do 'til hitting home sweet home): spent several chunks of time sitting out on the porch listening to and watching birds and carpenter bees buzz by, suck on blooms and swallow nectar, enjoying all the greenery and the sounds of silence (Nature's noisy but not distressing, not today anyway). No pteradactyls (sp).
Next up: love w/pooches, crickets chirping, cool air drifting in from without, watching Northern Exposure (from the beginning), then heading home yet again (been 2x already today). O'morrow = laziness, some baking, then party-time...fun-ness all around.
