delerium3 has a fambily BBQ o'morrow afternoon as well. So we drove topless up PCH through Malibu and past county line to Sycamore Cove. Oh, wait, we took the top off the CAR and drove up, bopping to loud music, bobbleheading to KC & his Sunshine Band, flirting w/cute testosterone-laden boyz on the way up, roaming the beach and sitting and gazing out at the horizon where the grey sea meets the grey sky, watching a dog frolic happily...then stopping on the way back down for mighty yumbly foodstuffs (finishing w/a pear tart w/vanilla ice cream surrounded by runny custard w/a reddish fruit swirl) at Allegria. THIS is what SoCal's for, after all.
