Ended up giving into a third urge after ascertaining that D-land'd not be as nice as we'd hoped (minus cute boyz) and WA's just too far away since I need to be here (well, Arcadia) at 8pm o'morrow and delerium3 has a fambily BBQ o'morrow afternoon as well. So we drove topless up PCH through Malibu and past county line to Sycamore Cove. Oh, wait, we took the top off the CAR and drove up, bopping to loud music, bobbleheading to KC & his Sunshine Band, flirting w/cute testosterone-laden boyz on the way up, roaming the beach and sitting and gazing out at the horizon where the grey sea meets the grey sky, watching a dog frolic happily...then stopping on the way back down for mighty yumbly foodstuffs (finishing w/a pear tart w/vanilla ice cream surrounded by runny custard w/a reddish fruit swirl) at Allegria. THIS is what SoCal's for, after all.

Sounds wonderful. It was slightly more wonderful picturing the two of you topless. But a convertible is almost as good . . . .
