Grand Rounds & MIIII

So I'm starting to get to know my way around downtown LA's Kaiser (Sunset) facility fairly well, 'specially the various cardiac units. O'morrow, however, I get to expand my repetoire to include St Vincent's, also in downtown L.A. And o'morrow I'm getting up before the worms, as we have to leave by 5am. For now, I'm beat and bushed. Amazing how exhausted one can get doing nothing more than waiting (and reading - finished A Scanner Darkly (whoa!) and began Obsidian Butterfly (Anita Blake Vampire Slut) and driving). By the time we got outta the hospital it was right in the middle of hellish rush hour traffic so we skipped it by toodling down Sunset to watch MI:III at the Cineramadome. Explosions, popcorn & Milk Duds were just what the doctor ordered. Okay, delerium3 just wandered in after a work-day featuring exploding spider-nest. The feasting courtesy of Zancou Chicken shall commence forthwith.
