Consult pattern, wonder about notes made last time. Measure, scratch head, measure, move fabric around, measure, consult pattern w/notes, shift things, measure...CUT. Repeat three (3) times. Now: bleary eyed. AJ rox. She's been doing all the actual sewing and pressing. One cape (cloak - what's the diff?) is nearly done (mebbe). One more needs sewing together. Warmth!

Not too many sites are willing to clearly define the difference. The only detail I could find is that a cape usually covers only about half the person and a cloak is usually a full length garment.

By the way, what are the dates for the MiddleEarth thingie? I'm interested in going if'n it's not too late to plan for it.

it's from MLERULES, really

Makes sense, as it hits around the knee and I'd've preferred ankle. Damg. Cloak would've been better...but cloaks will do (and daggers, too). MEF's gonna be Th, 6/15 'til Noon, M, 6/19/06.
