Travels, Cont'd

Today's gonna be busy. Recovering (laundry-wise) from recent trips and packing for the next one, as well as taking care of stuff & things that build up when one's gone, so rather than take care of one or two a day over the course of a week or so, it's all happening yesterday & today. Leaving o'morrow for a long w'end up in the Carmel Highlands where I'll host my step-sis and fambily and we'll hike and wander and explore 'round Big Sur and environs. Quite looking fwd to it: blazing fires in fireplace, wildflowers, ocean views and/or fog. Driving back down on Monday. But first: b-fast.

You are the second person on my friends list who is going to be hanging out in Big Sur this weekend. It's making me miss it so much! I didn't get my spring-fix this year.

I remember our two forrays together, one at Ripplewood (*deep sigh of contentment*) and one in Julia Pfeiffer State Park...both were really cool in their own ways...mmm and that dinner at Deetjens!!

Memories!!!

Have a great time. I'll be camping. In the desert. It will be fun, but a much more rugged experience than the car/cabin camping!
