Ducks In Rows
Nov. 20th, 2010 08:21 pmOh, I do so like it when things start to fall into place and I manage to get my ducks all lined up in nice neat rows. It's happening well this evening. Best of all, I've realized that I've got both tomorrow AND Monday to take care of the rest of the stuff for Thanksgiving and x-mas. (I'm taking everything for the Bay Area crew w/me next week since I shan't be down yonder over x-mas.)
Although I have mixed feelings about today's final day of the tutor training program, what matters is that I'm now DONE w/this - and even have a handy-dandy certificate claiming I'm now certified as a tutor. Come 2011, I'll start tutoring adults in literacy and/or GED prep. I've been wanting to do something along these lines since I moved up here, but only recently started shifting my focus from afar to closer-to-home. I imagine this'll be quite challenging, but also very rewarding.
Feeling renewed and pleased and positive...and quite thankful for the good people in my life and my incredibly lucky life circumstances.
