Recent Past & Future Goings-On
Mar. 2nd, 2009 12:07 pm( This Past Weekend )
Various options for upcoming things include experiencing yet again the March Fourth Marching Band sometime in the next few days (likely on March 4th itself), and perhaps checking out the wackiness of the Portland Urban Iditarod on March 14.
Life is good, varied, interesting, instructive, exciting.

No longer quite so woefully behind on uploading and organizing pics. Clickie for Pics from the CopperMoon Crew's V-day weekend in Vancouver, BC. For more pics from this trip, here're the ones posted by the talented and lovely

More Answers to Qx
Mar. 2nd, 2009 02:53 pmHow has the long distance thing worked out for you? It's not my favorite, but it's the way it is. I manage to make it down to SoCal every few months (for a while recently 'twas every month) and so far we've usually managed to spend time together on these visits, which is really nice. E-mail, IM, LJ, and the phone help, of course. I've got another set of LDRs approx 4 hours away as well. Frequent visits here, there, and elsewhere are certainly easier to manage w/the shorter distance, along w/e-communication.
How is dating someone who is married? Well, it's not my first time - and it does get easier w/time and experience - although each situation/r-ship is certainly unique and has its/their own sets of issues/complications/things with which to contend. I find that it's helpful to be clear on what's available time and energy-wise and not to expect more than what's possible. We can dream, we can hope, but ultimately there's just NOT enough time or energy for all we'd like. Even if Love is unlimited, Time is most certainly Not. ;-) Oh, it really helps to be friends w/the spouse and any other SOs involved.
There's another qx waiting in the wings (Do I have any regrets?) but that's gonna take more mulling over before responding to...
