Tu = Quite Good, As Per Usual

*sniff* - Even though Finn McCool's apparently just recently stopped having the Irish music jam sessions on Tuesday nights, which we discovered to our chagrin when showing up there this eve after a mirth-filled meal of chili, fresh warm cornbread w/butter & honey, spinach & 'shroom slad, assorted tasty beers, and gingerbread w/lemon yogurt & raspberries, we made the most of it and had a fine time playing Hearts - 'cause ebony_sphynx's brilliant enough to carry decks of cards in her purse!, chatting, and laughing more & muchly. I like get-togethers featuring much joy and laughter and great people!

The same musicians from Tuesday eves (rumor has it) still play at the jam session on Sundays from 3-7pm at Finn McCool's. Guess I'll be heading over some Sunday afternoon when I'm back in town.

Car Qx

Is there any reason to suspect that my car might not pass it's smog test if'n I haven't driven it much recently? Should I take it out for a long spin (it hasn't been driven in several weeks and only gets on now 'n' again) before getting it tested or just not worry 'bout it? Any thoughts/tips/hints/suggestions appreciated!

It Seems Hardly Fair...

...that my father gets better cable/internet package deals in the mail then I do. He's never even lived here while I've been here for over a decade, yet they appear willing to sign him up for DirectTV here at this address. Oh, did I mention the fact that he's been DEAD for more than 4.5 years now!
