Newbieness Cont'd

ebony_sphynx for once again including me in something truly delightful: henna! LOVE IT...even though it's gonna fade during this afternoon's soaking sessions at the spa. Very much enjoyed the home-cooked Indian food, too, even if'n I had to eat it in the not-nearly-as-nice environs as the Belfry (e.g., at LAX's Int'l Arrivals waiting area) and w/out the fine company. Only had to wait about 45 minutes for my friend, L, to deplane and go through customs and whatnot. We spent a nicely mellow evening chatting, drinking red wine, and eventually knodding off.

Spa & Henna Day Two
Dec. 6th, 2006 10:08 pmToday was simply delightful. Slept in, had a lazy morning, then toodled off w/L to Burke Williams for a lovely day of spa-ness featuring whirlpooling, pro massage - wow Wow WOW, steam room, dry sauna, mist room, quiet room, followed by a rendezvous w/ebony_sphynx and delerium3 for the sunset over the ocean, which would've been far more spectacular had the low lying cloud just on the horizon been about 10 feet over to the right/North. We then dined at Fritto Misto then ret'd to mi casa for more henna and glogg (which I made while the others were doing/being henna'd). ebony_sphynx was an absolute dear and did all three (3) of us - D3's hand and L and my feet & legs...coolness! Pics to come...sometime...later. I am content.

Holiday Plans
Dec. 6th, 2006 10:30 pmYAY! My dad's just invited me to spend x-mas w/them in Carmel Highlands. Since mom et al.'re doing x-mas din-din on 12/26, this should work out just fine and dandily. Methinks I'll do this: ( X-mas Schedule )
How Odd A Sensation This Is...
