Newbieness Cont'd

Thanks be to ebony_sphynx for once again including me in something truly delightful: henna! LOVE IT...even though it's gonna fade during this afternoon's soaking sessions at the spa. Very much enjoyed the home-cooked Indian food, too, even if'n I had to eat it in the not-nearly-as-nice environs as the Belfry (e.g., at LAX's Int'l Arrivals waiting area) and w/out the fine company. Only had to wait about 45 minutes for my friend, L, to deplane and go through customs and whatnot. We spent a nicely mellow evening chatting, drinking red wine, and eventually knodding off.

You know...I have a ton of henna left ready to go if you have time in the next 24 hours...I might be going out that way too...so perhaps after your spa with your friend...You could both get it done if you like...I could refresh the one I did yesterday for you and do some for her. Just a thought. Those beach walks are going to be a life-saver I think.

I was sad to see Lauren and I missed you last night. It was lots of fun, and my foot looks amazing (save the smeared henna on the ankle), but I was showing it off to my employees all day at work. Thanks to the lady of the belfry house! and by the way, THE ALMOND CAKE WAS AMAZING! I had sweet dreams of it all night.

Oh I so need a day at a spa. Not terribly masculine I realize but sometimes I just want to be massaged, mudded, and generally spa-ed into a drunken stupor. Ahhhhh. Feels good just thinking about it.

There were several guys there for an afternoon of decadent luxury...all you mentioned plus soaking in hot water, steam rooms, dry saunas. DO it sometime...you'll like it.
