Last night I was craving steak, after eating several meals where the protein consisted of tofurkey cleverly disguised as Italian sausage. And now I hear that it's Nat'l Steak & Blowjob Day: http://www.steakandbjday.com/ Hmm, there IS some leftover steak...

Meanwhile, just yesterday I commented to myself that it's 'bout that time o' year for the city to come by and trim the trees. This morning that's exactly what they did, even w/out warning signs for a change. Methinks I like this trend of feeling something coming on and it being precisely what's up.

Yesterday's e-mail in-box offerings included one supposedly from someone/something called webmaster@yahoo.com w/the re: line of NOTICE OF ACCOUNT LIMITATION and the little paperclip doohikey telling me there's an attachment w/in the or rather attached to or associated with or however it's called along with the e-mail. I'm scared to death of opening it but worried that mebbe it's something real from Yahoo, although the ALL CAPS strikes me as odd. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Infotainment Vultures. Helicopters circling overhead spell Trouble (w/a capital T that rhymes w/P which...). Yesterday I spotted 'em down over the water 'tween the Sta Monica pier and Venice - 'twas that small plane that went down killing 2 (at least) folks yesterday morning that they finally hauled up to check it out in the afternoon. Today saw a lone one hovering a bit ahead of my drive on the fwy - bad @ss accident w/one vehicle "overturned" or so claimed all the news reports although 'twas just on its side (bad enough but methinks inaccurate). Out in the desert vultures signal bad news, here in the Big Muddy, we rely upon the metal whirly-bird equivalent.
