New Phase

Actually, repeated: PHEW, glad it's no longer me! No more major projects. Maintenance's coo-el, as is dealing w/things as they arise as a general part of life. Rebuilding from the core up, wholesale 24/7 structural scaffolding, gasoline fire/crisis mgmt/red alert /disaster control's just too damg much. 'Specially considering the minimal payback. Qx: where were my instincts? How can I better protect/prepare myself? Realization: now there're two (2) cones of silence where there used to be fairly constant chatter. Thinking I can handle this just fine...

Technical (& Social) Glitches

Progress! Can access YahooMail from Safari on my machine, but LJ tends to freeze up when using Safari, so I bounce back and forth 'tween it and Exploder (which I'm more comfie/familiar with anyway).

Have just noticed that I'm likely NOT heading to Faire in Novato on Saturday as Friday night's the Roaring 20's at the Hwood Bowl. Perhaps Sunday instead...

One Year Ago Today

'Twas Canada Day. We drove from CT to Niagara Falls (Canada side), enjoyed the gorgeous view out across the falls from the restaurant above 'em (w/a most wonderous sunset providing glorious light), then continued on to Michigan that night.

I'm not evil, just a bit naughty at times. Just checked and it seems that Perversion's okay for 18 and older. Have got a 19 (just turned 20?) year old acquaintance who loves to dance - and from what I know and have seen can prolly do so fairly well - and I wanna let loose on him the full effect of the place filled w/at least some folks I know. We'll see when this can happen...hee hee hee! * rubs hands together in glee *
