Actually, repeated: PHEW, glad it's no longer me! No more major projects. Maintenance's coo-el, as is dealing w/things as they arise as a general part of life. Rebuilding from the core up, wholesale 24/7 structural scaffolding, gasoline fire/crisis mgmt/red alert /disaster control's just too damg much. 'Specially considering the minimal payback. Qx: where were my instincts? How can I better protect/prepare myself? Realization: now there're two (2) cones of silence where there used to be fairly constant chatter. Thinking I can handle this just fine...
